IFA
The International Fiscal Association (IFA) is a non-governmental international organisation dealing with legislation in the area of public finance and tax law. IFA was established on 12 February 1938 in the Netherlands. IFA membership consists of tax advisers, lawyers, university professors and governmental officials. The aim of the association is to study fiscal and economic aspects of taxation. IFA supports this aim by organizing congresses, issuing expert publications and performing scientific research.
International Fiscal Association, the Slovak Republic Branch
- is a Slovak branch of the international non-governmental association IFA. It was established on 13 March 2007 as a civic association under the law of the Slovak Republic. The Slovak office was awarded the statute of an official IFA branch at the world-wide IFA congress in Brussels in September 2008. .
